Today we took our very first family trip to the cinema.

After walking into town, elliott all of eighteen months was keen to walk the whole two kilometres, in bright sunshine we happily arrived at the Vue in Lancaster.

On the programme was Despicable Me 2. The Vue cinema has a very reasonable pricing for the kids club. Two pounds fifty entry for everyone, each of course. The kids special  is a drink and a small popcorn for two pounds.

Our entire party with drinks and popcorn was less than what we normally pay for two.

The kids were well behaved, Elliott fell asleep half way through. But Ben loved the whole experience.

Looks like we can do this more often.
